My Visit To The Kitchen Store

I had saved for the last few weeks to be able to buy what I wanted today. I was taking a trip to the mall where there was a kitchen specialty store. I enjoyed cooking and baking so this was probably my favorite all time store. I could hardly wait to get there and make my purchases.

The first item on my list was a countertop microwave. The one I have is old and not all the buttons work anymore. I was looking forward to purchasing a newer model. A lot of time had been saved every week by my using that kitchen tool.

There was such a huge selection that it took time to make my final decision. The one I finally decided upon had more features to it than my old one had. It even had a couple features that I had not known were available. Loading the one I chose into my cart, I started looking for the baking dish area.

The next thing on my list was a cake pan. Baking was done in my kitchen regularly so this is a much needed tool. I had loaned out my last one and it never found its way home. They had aisles of pans for cakes so here again I would have to see what exactly did I want to purchase.

I went down aisle after aisle checking out the options. There were so many brands and a number of different shapes. Finally I saw the one I wanted. It was a heart cake pan. This shape could be used for everyday as well as for holidays. It would be great asset to my kitchen baking items. Then I decided to pick up a set of spatulas, as I could never have enough of those.

At home with my new purchases I wanted to use them all right away. Of course that was not practical. I settled on reheating my rice in the microwave. One minute and the rice was ready to eat! This would save me a lot of time in the future on evenings when I did not want to cook.

I put away the rest of my new kitchen tools, as I was not going to bake tonight. There was a bake sale coming up and I could use them at that time. In the mean time I knew they would fit in well in my kitchen.
